Online shopping worries me sometimes. I'm not exactly slim. Choosing sizes according to my gut feeling. Paranoia hits x10 especially when you're ordering designer wear.

I'm amazed at myself for gambling on a IT 42. Even more so amazed that I can fit into it! That's a UK10 if you're wondering. Albeit I do look a bit poofy in it. But I just need to lose that much more for it to fit nicely.

This reaffirms my perception that designer wear is not just about the aesthetics but also the quality. It is really soft, light and fluffy. Loving the metal contrast.

Sunshine in my closet (:

The reason why I like surgery. Or going through surgery and what I've learnt from it.

I like the whole process. It makes me feel alive. No but really. I love it. I love the idea of smelling sterile air,  the feeling of needles piercing through my skin, immediate sedation from the cruel world; and it feels like years. There's no pain. Only happiness. Happiness from emptiness. The emptiness that is void of anything and everything that causes hurt. There are no troubles or problems in this world under anaesthesia. Just bliss. Pure bliss from knowing that there's nothing there to make you sad. There's nothing there at all. One thing to note is that there's also no one there. But it's okay. You're on drugs anyway. You don't care. You're happy. You're high. Even if you're all by yourself. There's the beauty of isoflurane. If I could, I would put myself to sleep every night. And if I do it long enough, I might just put myself to sleep altogether. Just maybe.

Can someone tell me what's worth it anymore?

Hi.

I have moved.

But because I have had quite a history with this account (created this in 2005!), I shall occasionally come back and might still post stuff here! Aren't I irritating? Hahahah.

2 doctors, 2 radiologists, 4 X-rays and $100++ later, there isn't a confirmed diagnosis of my problem. T and I went onto wiki and have successfully diagnosed my problem. Thank you, Dr. Wiki. If you're curious, I have some form of a piriformis syndrome (one of the causes of sciatica) and the only treatment is physiotherapy (makes me happy because I have a competent physiologist) and strong painkillers to numb the pain. It's really serious in the sense that I'm bedridden for now. Sitting, standing or let alone walking, is really painful. Bathing really sucks.

Anyway, last week I went to the doctor for a different problem. Because I'm insured, I paid $5 for the doctor to tell me what we found on wikipedia and the medicine. I also want to complain about the doctor in the polyclinic I saw this week. I didn't wait for more than 3 hours just for the stupid doctor to tell me nonsense for 10 minutes? (she's female btw) BLEH. I wasted both time and money. And since time = money, I wasted even more money. It's not that I don't trust female doctors. Some are really good at what they do. But those just starting out...I think they really suck for someone with supposedly such high calibre. At least the male doctor in the Emergency Dept. of TTSH could tell me more. I think even vets can do better than them. It's like, you study so hard to get into NUS med or other med schools, but you come out like a retard. Even my physiotherapist can do better. If being a doctor is what you want to do, then at least give your best shot at it. Don't so slipshot la. You may say that there's a lot of things about the human body and 5/6 years not enough to learn about them. But let's compare it to a vet. A vet has 5 years to learn about...domestic animals as well as some exotic animals. Domestic animals include dogs, cats, small mammals such as hamster, rabbit, guinea pigs, etc etc. Exotic would be birds, snakes, reptiles, tortoise, etc. So doctors, what are you complaining about??? Show some competence la.

Please, my friends. If you're buying diamonds, insist on buying conflict-free diamonds. That is, diamonds that are Kimberly Process certified. If you're wondering why, please watch Blood Diamond. I know it's a damn old movie. I've always wanted to watch it but I have no time. Just watch k?

It shows just a little part of what's really going on in Africa.. The movie is set in Sierra Leone, but there are other places that are definitely affected. Aiya just watch. There's another movie also showing something like this. I forgot the name.
